Health Insurance Literacy in Head and Neck Cancer Patients
Summary
The purpose of the study is to assess the association between financial hardship and quality of life among head and neck cancer patients undergoing treatment for their cancer and their primary caregivers.
Objective
Aim 1: To assess the prevalence and predictors of financial hardship among older adults with HNC at Moffitt over a one-year period
Aim 2: To assess prevalence and predictors of health insurance literacy among older adults with HNC at Moffitt.
Aim 3: To assess patient and caregiver needs and preferences for a Medicare insurance education program for older adults with HNC at Moffitt
Uncontrolled psychiatric disease as identified by clinic or research staff
