"There is hope, in Moffitt Cancer Center."
Joshua was 27 when he was diagnosed with a Ewing Sarcoma. Following his initial surgery, Josh came to Moffitt Cancer Center to begin his treatment, undergoing over 1,100 hours of chemotherapy.
Despite feelings of defeat, Josh continued his treatment at the encouragement of his care team, and is now not only a survivor, but a proud Moffitt employee and advocate.
He now volunteers as a patient advisor and as a member of the Patient and Family Advisory Council. He also has spoken at Moffitt about fertility and cancer treatment issues.
